Habematolel dance house c.1900

The Museums of Lake County and the Tribal Advisory Council to the Museums are in partnership to erect a life-size bronze sculpture that will feature a Pomo Indian Family embracing the bonds of love, family, and resiliency in dance.
The County of Lake Supervisors by an approval vote of 5-0 on July 10th will provide a site in the Historic Courthouse Museum Park. This central location makes an ideal place to commemorate the heritage of the Lake Pomo people.
